Who we are
This website is run by Hudson & Hounds ("we", "us"), a dog training and grooming business run by Donna Hudson, working across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Berkshire.

What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website we collect your name, your phone number or email address, your dog's name, age and breed, and anything you tell us about your dog and what you would like help with.
If you call, email or message us (including on WhatsApp), we keep the details you send so we can reply and, if you go ahead, train or groom your dog.
When you book a class, the booking and payment are handled by Calendly and Stripe. They collect the details needed to make the booking and take payment, and share your booking details with us.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, manage your class bookings and, if you go ahead, plan and deliver your dog's training or grooming. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, carrying out that contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who else sees it
Our enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes your message to our email inbox. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail). Class bookings are handled by Calendly and card payments by Stripe; their own privacy policies apply. If you message us on WhatsApp or social media, that platform's own privacy policy applies.
Cookies and analytics
If you agree using the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how people use the site. This sets cookies on your device. If you say no, it is not loaded. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
The class booking calendar is provided by Calendly and may set cookies needed for booking to work when you use it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not go ahead for up to 12 months. For clients, we keep booking, training and grooming records for as long as we need them to support you and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email donnahudson472@gmail.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
