Training classes for grown-up dogs.

A small, reward-based class for dogs aged 2 years and over. Brush up the basics, fix the habits that have crept in and enjoy training together.

It is never too late to train.

Older dogs learn brilliantly. This class is for dogs aged 2 years and over, whether you want to polish the basics, sort out a habit that has crept in or just enjoy an evening of training together.

Classes are reward-based and never more than six dogs, so I can help each dog individually rather than teaching one routine to everyone.

  • Reward-based, always
  • Six dogs max per class
  • For dogs aged 2 years and over
  • Every exercise broken into small steps
  • Indoor and outdoor training areas

What we work on

  • Everyday manners

Sit, wait and settle, so day-to-day life with your dog is easier.

  • Recall

A recall that holds up, built one small, rewarding step at a time.

  • Calmer walks

Walking nicely together, so walks are something you both enjoy.

  • Focus

Keeping your dog's attention, even with other dogs and people around.

General training questions

What age is this class for?

Dogs aged 2 years and over. If your dog is younger, have a look at the puppy and adolescent classes, or send me a message and I will help you choose.

How many dogs are in a class?

Never more than six. Small classes mean I can help each dog individually, breaking each exercise down to suit them.

Where are the classes held?

Classes are held in Lewknor, OX49 5RY, with both an indoor and an outdoor training area, so classes go ahead whatever the weather. I work across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Berkshire.

Is there anything I need to know before booking?

Classes are one dog per handler, and I need proof that your dog's vaccinations are up to date. Courses are paid in advance when you book.

Questions before you book?

Send me a message about your dog and I will help you choose the right class.
