Adolescent training for the teenage months.

Small, reward-based group classes for young dogs who have stopped listening quite so well. Six dogs max, so yours gets real help.

Did your puppy forget everything overnight?

Adolescence is a normal stage, and plenty of dogs find focus harder for a while. In these classes we keep training fun and break every exercise into small steps your dog can get right, so good habits stick through the teenage months.

Classes are reward-based and never more than six dogs, so I can help each dog individually rather than teaching one routine to everyone.

  • Reward-based, always
  • Six dogs max per class
  • Every exercise broken into small steps
  • Games that build focus and confidence
  • Indoor and outdoor training areas

What we work on

  • Focus

Getting your dog's attention back, even with other dogs and people around.

  • Recall

A recall that holds up, built one small, rewarding step at a time.

  • Calmer walks

Walking nicely together, so walks are something you both enjoy.

  • Confidence

Games and enrichment that help unsure dogs feel brave and settled.

Adolescent class questions

What age is this class for?

Dogs aged 6 to 24 months. If you are not sure whether your dog fits puppy or adolescent classes, send me a message and I will help you choose.

How many dogs are in a class?

Never more than six. Small classes mean I can help each dog individually, breaking each exercise down to suit them.

Where are the classes held?

Classes are held in Lewknor, OX49 5RY, with both an indoor and an outdoor training area, so classes go ahead whatever the weather. I work across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Berkshire.

Is there anything I need to know before booking?

Classes are one dog per handler, and I need proof that your dog's vaccinations are up to date. Courses are paid in advance when you book.

Questions before you book?

Send me a message about your dog and I will help you choose the right class.
